Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

I found this forum to look for a custom fixed blade as well as a service to restore an old KA-BAR given to me years ago by a dear friend.

I've been lurking for a year or so gleaning what I could to help make my knife purchases more informed. For that, I already owe you all a measure of thanks.

I look forward to participating and learning whatever I can from the discussions.

Best Regards,
DD

Welcome aboard, double D! This site will soon take all your time and money. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forums. Prepare to empty your wallet.

Welcome to bladeforums!

I am going to do the nicest thing anyone here on this forum will do for you. Please send your cash/credit cards/computer over to me for disposal and forget we ever exist, it is far cheaper in the short and long run than sticking around. We're all enablers here who will help feed and encourage your knife addiction.

Though if you decide to stick around it's hard not to learn new things about knives and how light your wallet can get. Which on the plus side will make more room in your pocket for that new knife you just purchased lol.

Welcome aboard. Misery loves company. I vowed to never be house poor. Little did I know that I would become knife poor. I love all of my knives, even if I don't particularly like some of them.

Thanks everyone.
Any place where you are welcomed and warned away in the same sentence is my kinda place.

I was you a few months ago. I joined this forum, looking to expand my limited knowledge on blades. I had a couple cheapo knives and had never heard of Becker Knife and Tool, thought Kabar was a cheap folding knife manufacturer and also thought SOG was the bestest knife maker ever! ........fast forward....... Now I'm one billion times more knowledgeable, Have 4 Beckers, 2 Benchmades, a Zero Tolerance and a few others. Thanks to the guys/gals on here, I'm broke but very happy!!!

WELCOME!!!

-Dan
