Hi Folks,
Wanted to say "hi". I've been collecting knives for some years. Didn't really know anything about them, just saw what I liked then bought it. Now it seems I've gathered some nice tactical/survival knives and found out I had some good taste in quality, but can still do a bit better.
My first knives were Gerber silver trident, SOG Seal knife, Gerber Gator, then I went up a bit to the ZT 300, TOPS Steel Eagle 107D, TOPS Apache Falcon, and my latest was the Strider BT fixed blade.
I mainly joined because I wanted to ask some questions and learn about the different steels, the questions will follow in time. The quality of steels is what drove my latest purchases, and I have a couple on my want list. I'm still waiting to get the Chris Reeve Pacific fixed blade, and the right Strider SNG or SMF when I see it.
I wanna say "thanks" ahead of time for sharing your knowledge with me on future questions and likewise, hopefully I can be an asset to this discussion group.
