Hey guys I just signed up to the blade forums. I have been using Buck 110 knives while hunting for as long as I can remember. Definatly my favorite knife ! I was pleased to see these Buck Knives forums and figured I should sign up.

Anyways, Im getting ready to get another buck110. This time the Alaskan Guide series from Cabelas. I have heard NOTHING but great things about the s30v steel on these knives and am excited to finally get one for myself.

Im also looking hard at the Alaskan Guide Alpha Hunter folder. The limited edition ones with the stag handels are just simply awesome looking. It looks like I missed the boat on those though. Unless you can provide me some leads to get my paws on one !!

Lets see some photos of your Alaskan Guide Series knives !!! Post them up here !!! Take care and will see you around. -Gary

Gary,

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you. I wish I had an AG to post but not yet. I have a couple 110's to show.

Welcome to the forum...enjoy yourself...we're all knife nuts!! These 110s started life as Alaskan Guide's. Top 1 is elephant ivory, next is mammoth tooth..they've had the AG emblem buffed off. Someone here on the forum has that mammoth tooth 110 now. Third down is stock AG 110, and bottom 110 had stag inlays added.

Welcome to the Buck Forum. If you want a 110 with a s30v blade an AG is the way to go.You can also order a Custom 110 s30v from Buck with your choice of bolsters and handles but that's gonna cost more than the AG.I have two AG 110s,and the AG Vanguard.

That lucky person would be me. It's still one of my favorites!
