sup forums,

I'm a student in New York and just joined up on the forums. I've gone through about 20 - 30 knives now, most I haven't gotten rid of. My pride and joy is my big desert tan CRKT M16-14zsf. I use it probably every day. The others I have are:

CRKT- m16-14zsf, m16-10kz, lake 111
kershaw- scallion, mini mojo
buck vantage (small)
remmington f.a.s.t.
various other cheap folders like mtech, smith & wesson, etc.

I am on a sponsored paintball team and have a ton of paintball and airsoft guns, so yes I am one of those tactical people, haha. But, have been slowly moving towards higher end knives, my recent interests are a spyderco delica 4 with Wave, and I used to have a SOG mini vulcan, and i miss the axis/arc system and im interested in getting another knife with that again.

Glad to be on here and I hope to learn more, expand my collection, and find out about crazy stuff from the people who collect like me. Thanks for your time reading my bs, and I look foward to the experience here.

Hey guys, this is a buddy of mine who I introduced to these forums after getting him into knives. Just wanted to say welcome and let everyone else know that Gosdent is a good dude. I know he'll be blaming more than just me for his growing collection of knives once he hangs out here a bit more. :D

So it´s time to get a Bencmade 710!

Welcome to the forums! I'm a student too. You should go for an Axis lock, it's really a great system. And nothing like it that I've tried is as good. Almost everyone seems to have their own version (ball lock, arc lock, ram lock), but nothing is quite as good as the original. Take a look at the Griptilian, 710, and 94x series; they are Benchmade's flagships.

Welcome to the forums and WARNING!: Once you start buying Spyderco's, you'll never stop. Haha

haha thanks guys! I've been on ALOT of forums for paintball and such and this is the first forum I've been on where people go out of their way to be friendly so quick! haha.

And YES I have been looking at Benchmade's axis stuff. I've been discussing with Droppoint what to get for my birthday coming up the end of the month, and I miss having the sog mini vulcan arc system, and I've wanted a Benchmade for a long time but never thought I could afford one. Luckily, I found the Benchmade 530 lightweight. It's shape, look, and size is exactly what my taste is for folders, AND it's under three figures, which is a huge plus for me. Check it out! Cuz it's either that or a CRKT Hissatsu, which I have handled before, unlike the BM 530.

BTW, If you have one, I demand you post pics immediately. :D Again, thanks for the welcome, it's really making me look foward to being here.

I suggest you edit that link out. There's a not so intuitive rule on these forums against deal spotting, which that would qualify as.

Actually, that's not an incredible price for a BM axis lock. Some of their cheaper models like the griptilian can easily be found for under $100. Email me if you want to know the cheapest dealers.

Wow, fresh meat. With the lineup you detailed in your intro, I'm sure you've got some grizzly mishap stories to tell. Seriously, you should look forward to learning about what quality and value in a knife is. Welcome onboard!
