I just received my "Whitetail Stalker" that Bill had posted in the for sale section here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...TAIL-STALKER-quot-New-Release-1095-(((SOLD))) First off, this thing is beautiful from the wood to the lines to the sheath. It is nice and sharp too. No need to touch this one up at all beings it will already easily slice paper and shave the hair off my arm. It is ground nice and thin at the edge, so it should be a heck of a cutter. The handle fills my hands up well and feels good in the positions I would be using it for field dressing and skinning a deer. I hope to give this thing a good workout soon along with another custom hunter that I got a while back. I'm hoping to get 3ish deer this year and usually end up helping someone else with theirs, so it will get a chance to get some good use. Anyways, heres a couple quick pictures I took.

Oh, and in case someone is wondering how I managed to get my hands on it from the post office so early in the morning on a holiday, I actually haul mail for a living and told them yesterday that I should have a package showing up. The person working kept an eye out for it for me and it was sitting on the desk waiting for me at 3:30 this morning when I got there with a truck load of mail.

Awesome man! Bill makes some outstanding knives...it won't be your last! Welcome aboard!

It definitely won't be your last! I can promise you that if you hang out here for long enough & see some of the works of art that Bill & Chris produce. A true thing of beauty. I can honestly say that I am hooked. Good luck with the deer hunting. The PA archery season just started & I am out every chance I can get after work. Just a matter of time now before I connect with a nice buck & put one of my sweet knives to work...

Thanks guys. I can already tell it won't be my last. A KFU is on my list too, but I think my checkbook told me I better hold off on buying anymore for a while.

Sweet blade wildcat, I am new to the site too. Seen a lot of custom knives here I would love to add to my collection, and yet this would be another one.

Thanks, I do love it. I think I've yanked it out of the safe everyday so far to look at it. :P All the people that I've showed it to so far can't believe that a person can make something so nice and that it is actually wood for the handles. Deer season is in a couple weeks, so hopefully I get to break it in good then.

A/C, welcome to the forum. I received my first BA knife last fall, and it's like BA's traditional by-line says, "Pic's do not do this knife justice" . . . . :)
I think I held mine for about 45 minutes just sitting on the couch before I put in down . . . . but then picked it back up 5 minutes later and still could not believe what a knife it was.
I will throw in my two cents as well . . . . . . . start saving you dimes and quarters, everyone on here will tell you that knife will not be your last one from BA . . . .
Enjoy the forum, thanks for the pictures.
Be safe.

Just got my 5th Backwoods blade the other day, waiting on my 4th from KFU. Hardest part
is deciding which knife to take with me when I go out. Oh yeah, also have 4 from Daniel Fairly Knives.
And some people wonder why I always have 3 or 4 knives with me, if they only knew what I left at home. :D
