I just ran across a pocket knife- has blade, awl, and can opener (not bottle opener)--has the name IROQUOIS in an oval and below that UTICA, NY-- have not been able to find anything out about this knife or company that made it---handles are green flecked celluloid--pretty little knife, not real big, has a little problem with the pins thru the blades, but rest of knife in good shape...HELP!!!!!!

Hmm... I dont know anything about it, and since you cant find any info about it anywhere that would tend to make me hesitate to buy it. If you really like the looks of it then go ahead but dont expect too much out of it as far as a working knife. You would probably be better off buying a Swiss army knife or a Camillus camping or boy scout knife(they have several models).

From Bernard Levine's Guide #4.....

Probably made by Utica Cutlery Company, circa 1930-40. He rates the collectabilty on the low side, however.

Ritchie and Stewart's Guide rates it more as medium collectability.

It sounds like a camp/scout type knife.

Best I could find.

Bill

I kinda thought it looked a scout type configuration as a pocket knife--about all made similar---just wanted some idea of what it was worth--didn't give but $12 for it so I don't feel hurt--also a curiosity to all I have shown it to. No one has ever heard of it. Thanks again---HOVEY
