Greetings gents!

I recieved my first Kuk on monday and tried it out on some ash trees in need of a trimming. I must say that the 20" Kroba by Bura is everything that I had hoped for. If my motorcycle did not demand a rebuild this winter I would be knee deep in Kuks before long. As it stands now my blade obsession is on hold untill summer. As has been noted before in the fourm it is indeed a pleasure to busniess with Uncle Bill..
Phred :D

Welcome !!!

(That's right, having bought one, you won't buy any until NEXT summer.)

Good to know.

:D :D :D   :D :D :D

Welcome to the forum. Hope you get to like this place the way the rest of us do.

The Kobra is a good khuk but just a bit slim for heavy chopping. It is built strong enough to do a lot of work have no fear.:)

Welcome Phred, gladyou like the khukuri. My first was an 18" Kobra. Keep an eye out for a blem or UBBB (Uncle Bill's Best Buy). I got a BAS, that or an Ang Khola will give you some heavier chopping power.

Welcome to the cantina. I know you are going to enjoy it here...great bunch of people. Enjoy the khuk, but be sure to read the safety thread. Believe me, it will pay off in the long run.

The term Cantina is meant to refer to the bar scene in the first Star Wars movie. Weirdness and alien forumites ( whather in or out of the closet doesn't matter ) are expected, nay valued, for the add variety and spice they bring to the place.

Just treat each other friendly and blurt out the dumb questions and you'll be answered. You may be treated as mildly retarded with the dumb questions, but everyone here has those days anyway.

So pull up a chair by the woodstove, kick off your boots and toast your toes while we get acquianted with each other.

And remember that the only difference between Rednecks and Bikers and Cowboys and Indins is the outfits that's worn.;) :D

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas.
Ysva if this is a psyco ward I should fit right in. As for asking dumb questions, lets just say that my wife has assured me that somewhere there is a short bus with my name on it. I will try to weight in on subjects when I can but I really only have a good connection on weekends when I'm at work. Mon, Tues, and Wed all I have is dial up. :barf:
