Hello all! I haven't really been into knife collecting in awhile... but I'd love to get back into the scene. I used to manage a knife store in San Jose, CA which got me hooked. I got a lot of limited editions and prototypes while I was out there. I pretty much love anything carbon fiber or titanium. My EDC is a limted run carbon fiber Benchmade Ares... it never leaves my side. Just wondering what everyone else carries? I'd have to guess my rarest is the full size Benchmade ACFK Tanto prototype... I know I've taken it to many knife shows and had lots of people drooling all over it. lol Sadly though years back my old landlord stole all of my knives from my display case... toss them all in a towel (still open, etc)... cops got them all back for me but some of them got nicked up from banging around on each other... sadest day of my life seeing them splayed out of the hood of the cop car all banging together... too bad they don't give the death sentence for such a crime. *sigh*

Thanks everyone. Yea... that carbon fiber civilian is one I'll never part with. lol I've owned a few including the original with the aluminum handles with the rubber inserts fully serrated... one helluva scary looking knife. There's a lot that I wish I would have never sold... but unfortunately paying off debts was more important at the time and I had a lot invested in the knives. lol
 
Thank you :) Once I figure out what I want to keep, I'm sure you'll see some of them up for trade or sale once I upgrade my account here. I don't own any fixed blades... there's one I've seen around with a triple edged blade that twists... can't remember who makes it... but I want it bad. lol I used to have a Masters of Defense razorback... sold it to a bad ass military chick who wandered into my store. Wish I wouldn't have sold it... but I'm a sucker for a pretty face I guess. lol
 
Welcome to the forums. Have a good time, spend some money just don't drink the whisky of the mods. none who have tried it ever posted again.

Seriously though welcome and sweet collection(I love ti and cf to)
 
Welcome! Very nice collection! To answer the "what do you carry" question, I EDC either my Hinderer XM-18, or Emerson CQC-7V (mostly but I carry others as well).
