New guy post; Barminski pic

Howdy,

Excellent forum. Thought I'd sign up, and drop in a pic of my Barminski. Got it back in the 90's, at a mall cutlery store. They had about 30 of Tom's knives, maybe owing to the fact that Loveland is 30 miles north. I called Tom to learn about his knives, and he was happy to talk about them. Tom calls this model his fighter knife. It's about 17 inches in length.

What's the blade steel/handle material on the knife?

I cannot get my "zoom" feature to work. Tiny pictures are hard on old eyes like mine.

Sorry for the monstrous pic, folks. I'll resize next time. The fighter weighs about 1.5 pounds. It IS kind of a funky looking knife. To do over, I would opt for one of smaller ones, maybe a 5 inch blade. It surely is a gun cabinet piece; I'd need a porter to carry it in the forest.
