What's "walk and talk"?

Walk And Talk is applied to the way knife blades open and close, walk is how the blade would move, and the talk is how it would snap open and shut. usually on a new knife you would expect great walk and talk, on well used knife, not so much.

Walk and Talk: This describes the actions of a pocket knife when opened and closed. The walk describes the feel of the tang as it moves along the spring when the blade is opened. The talk refers to the sound of the knife when the blade is closed. A well adjusted knife "walks and talks" (has a nice strong snap and has blades that slide smoothly across the springs).

For me, add in half-stops that the blade pops into and out of crisply, and it's pure joy just opening and closing the thing.
