Are the lengths listed the overall length or the length of the blade?

Overall length and they tend to be a little bit longer than that by about .25" to .50".
For example a 18" Sirupati might be listed so on a DoTD but when it arrives and you measure it, it would probably be 18.5" long. Or not. But I've never gotten one which was shorter than what it was listed as.
