New guy that needs some advice

I have been lurking here for a few days admiring yall's work and now I need some help. I'm looking for an axe for my brother and I found this Collins, but the shape of the bit looks a little off to me. I would appreciate some input.

There is more wear at the toe than at the heel but not enough to worry about. What is nice about this head; whoever sharpened it did not make a mess!
