just thought i'd post this here i've been lurking here since IG's hamer-in.i just got this one done what do you guys think. it's 1084,brass,elk tine,15n20,red stuff and green malachite. the blade is 4.25" and 8.25" overall.

David, that is one nice piece! The design flows, the workmanship is great, and I love the temper line. I also really like the shape of the blade. Great choice of materials too. Keep up the good work!

Great looking knife.

Malachite is a stone. I like it on some knives that I have seen and not on others. It is very distinctive though.

Dave, I really like that one. I think your blade design is great,too. I like the belly on the blade, just the right amount for a using knife. Your knife looks like one that wants to jump right in there and cut something! Very nice work, Dave.
