Hey guys I've lurked on the forums forever, thanks for all the great info ya'll have helped me with over the years.

I just picked up a BK14 since I've snapped my last 2 CRKT edc's. I've always been a Beckerhead though and beat the snot out of my BK2 without it so much as whimpering, so I figured it's little brother would be a good EDC.

I just can't seem to find a good way to carry it besides it flopping around in my pocket. So I was wondering if anybody made a checkbook wallet/rodeo wallet that had a spot to put a knife in it. I've got one that would be perfect if it had a small sheath opening on the back for a bk14. If not anybody knows someone who'd custom make me one?

And if ya'll have any tips on EDC this thing let me know.
Thanks!

Hey man, come on in the throw down and hang out with us. I carry mine around my neck but SaturatedShadow has about the niftiest thing you've ever seen right here.

Here's a quick way of making the stock sheath into a belt carry. Just run some paracord through the eyelets and I added a "ranger band" or piece of inner tube for stashing goodies. There are also tons of sheath makers on the forum if you want to go with new leather or kydex pants.

So are you focused on carrying the 14 in your back pocket with your wallet? I've got a leather pocket sheath that I made for mine and have been using the last couple weeks. It sits upright and works really well.

As small as the 14 is, any way really is doable. I just carry mine in my front pocket. If you wanna go back pocket, it's pretty low profile. The TDI clip from Ka-Bar is pretty handy and very cheaply priced. If you want a new sheath, kydex is relatively easy to pull off as a rookie sheath maker. We have loads of sheath makers here that specialize in leather and/or kydex.

I EDC this every day with the TDI clip. Clipped to the inside of a front pocket or upside down on the belt toward the back. Works great.

Thanks for the quick replies fellas. That's what I did when i firs got it, yours may be tighter with that band on there but mine was pretty loose...does it help?
i fabbed a clip at about 35 degrees for IWB in the small of my back but I drive a lot and it would get uncomfortable on 45 min runs to town. So i'm definitely more interested in a custom sheath since I haven't really found something comfortable enough to wear all day while still allowing me quick access.

I may have to settle on the looped to the belt loop in a pocket thing, but dedicating a whole pocket to a knife doesn't thrill me. I'd get one of the back pocket sheaths like your talking about yubes88 cause they look comfy, but my back pocket left is copenhagen and back right is wallet, and my fronts are taken... wondering if somebody made a wallet/sheath combo using the full lenqth wallets.

I may have to give that TDI clip a shot and order me some kydex...been wanting an excuse to try that anyways ha!

I generally have a slightly larger knife IWB, so I actually carry my 11/14/24 as a neck knife. It is incredibly handy right there and if you want lower profile just slip it under your shirt. That is what I do though.

I like carrying horizontally, just to the left (support) side of my belt buckle. It's comfortable and accessible while in a vehicle, as well as standing and moving around. The blade is easily concealable with an untucked shirt, but that's not always an option.
