New guy with a few Bucks

Quick intro. I was told of a few 301 stockman knives were for sale and figured they would be good to buy for my boys and I. Once I got them and had them engraved with our initials, I was hooked on Buck.
A 110 from a local shop then a 112 and eco 112. (y'all can see where this is going...) Then I found a 503 and a 55 nice but I wanted a tad bigger so I ordered a 500 I really liked that but still wanted more. I had in the mean time custom shop ordered a 501 with the SV30 steel now dang that is about perfect!

Oh, I have a custom 110 on the way! Well this is cheaper than ordering custom 1911's........

Welcome to the Buck forum. I also just dove head first into the Buck knife addiction. I'm working on the 700 series at the moment, then who knows?
Make sure that somewhere in your Buck financing you leave room for a BCCI membership. Still waiting to receive my packet, but from everything I've read, it is more than worth the money.

And, of course, nice start to your collection. They look great.

Nice collection C.Helm. I just got an oak 501 from the custom shoppe with S30v and no rivets, isn't yours oak?

not every one agrees .. let alone with me but
we all enjoys our bucks
I ant the oldest one here there are ones that been here longer
most us old timers don't post as much as we did
but we all stop in and reads a bit now and then
seems you is well on your ways to a nice collection !!!
keeps us posted as to what you find
now keeps in mind that it gets under yer skin with the I wants on des buck knives!!!
heck I gots over 350 o them now .. I know der are some out there that gots more them me
hee hee hee wander if they will post how many they gots?
will see...
so enjoy your self and don't try to pick that buck splinter out
as you will enjoy it for quite a while

Glad youre here, nice collection-all essential Bucks. If you stick around long enough you will qualify for your own 110 Dave decoder ring:p
 
I'm starting to get pulled in as well.

Vigorously trying to find a 315 and a 317...
