Greetings,
I am new to this forum and site so I begin by saying hello to my fellow blade enthusiasts....
my enthusiasm has led me to buy a Gerber 35th Anniversary Mark ll. I had one when I was in the army years ago but it was "liberated" from my duffel at Ft.(doesnt matter). My question is : does anyone know what steel was used to make the 2001 Grey cats-tongue wasp version that I now own? I think the later 2002 run was 154cm....but what of the 1250 run in 2001? 440c? a? 154cm? L6? (doubt it) Thanks in advance for your help. SF

Welcome aboard, I do not know the answer to your question but there will be somebody here that does.
I do not think that the Mark 2 used very good steel but the later models may have.

My old one was something Gerber called high speed tool steel. Probably not as good as your 154 CM. I broke mine.
