New guy with an unknown Gerber

When recently cleaning out my attic I found a knife marked as a Gerber. As best as I can recall I purchased this knife 20 or 25 years ago and it has no info on the knife. For all I know it might be a fake. I’ve attached a photo and would appreciate any info you could provide.
