  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

New guy here. Probably like many here I've been into knives, specifically folders, since I was young. I've carried a pocket knife ever since I can remember but never anything over the $60 mark. The past few years I've wanted to get a "high" end folder and discovered Strider. After talking myself into and out of buying one many times, last week I began looking again. While looking I came across the ZT 0300bw and forgot my Strider lust! I ordered it, received it and LOVE it! I already have plans of getting a 0566bw and a 0770cf when they come out. I also plan on collecting USA made Kershaws.

Welcome to Bladeforums.

I love my Strider, and eventually you will end up with one if you like tough folders. ZT's are nice, I have an 0350TS. Be careful around here, or you will soon find your wallet empty.

Great start to a good collection KAI has a great variety and value for production knives. Welcome to Bladeforums.

Welcome! Congrats and enjoy your new knife!

What did you do with it that made you love it?

I haven't done much with it other than carry it and play with it. I've used it a few times. What I love about it is the fit and finish, solid lock up, blade design, it's heft, and how it fits my hand.

Welcome to the forum.
I can hear the fever rising in you.

I love my ZT 0550 gen 2. Total tank folder. Waiting to raise the funds for a Strider.

Welcome! Love the fact you are looking for US made Kershaws!

Welcome to the forum bud!

I'll echo a few of the others already: The ZT 0550 is a great one, i'm a huge fan, mine gets a lot of pocket time.

For other great examples of USA made quality fit and finish, check out some of Spyderco's examples. The Military and Manix 2 are great, and the Paramilitary 2 has been extremely popular recently.

Again, welcome to the forums. I would like to apologize in advance to your wallet, bank account, credit cards, credit score, and anybody who loves you, because they just lost a part of you to sharp pointy things. When you find yourself deciding whether or not paying rent really matters, look to your friends here on the forum. We'll help you decide which blade to buy :D
