This is the first time for me posting on this forum, and I could use some help.
I have a knife, given to me by my Father-in law, that he carried in WW2. On the scabbard it has "U.S.N." with "MK 2" under. On the flip side is "NORD-6581" with "B.M. Co." and what looks like an "8" With a - over it and Vp with a star under the "V" and next to the "p". The scabbard is a green plastic-like material with Olive Drab web hanger.
The knife has a black leather ring grip, and a round flat top pommel. The blade guard has "USN MK 2" on top guard and "R.C.C. on bottom.
I hope this description isn't to confusing. Thanks.

Frenchy

Welcome to the Forums!! You gave a description but you didn't ask a question. The knife is a USN MK II and it was made by Robeson. And that is about as much as can tell you. If your looking for specific info ask the question in the Bernard Levine forum. Either Mr. Frank T. Or Mister Levine or one of the many other SME's will be able to assist.
Regards
Ken

Welcome, Frenchy. Ken is right, ask your question at BRL's forum and you'll probably get all the info you need.
