New guy here...been lurking for a while looking to replace a 2 dot Buck 110 from my youth that somehow mysteriously disappeared over the years. Found one on ebay and after seeing some of the pics you all posted of the spa treatment from Buck, decided to send it out the day I received it and will hopefully get it back in a month or so. Also found a mint, period correct case for it and it's sitting here waiting patiently for it's new passenger! Collected a few knives (Buck, Gerber, Schrade, Hibben, Victorinox, a few old case knives of dad's/great granddad's, along with all of dad's old hunting knives ) over the past 40 years or so. Great site you have here with a wealth of knowledge and some pretty fancy knives too! Thanks for having me.!

Hello Shappy. Your right this is a wonderful place for us knife Knuts. I found BF when trying to hunt down the one time elusive TC Barlow and like cj65 I never looked back. Hardly a day goes by that I don't take a look at what's happening on here or look up somthing knife related. Welcome to BF

Welcome Shappy. I joined BF about the same time as I did a number of other forums that I might be interested in the subject matter. It corresponded with a change on internet connection at home from regular dial up to DSL. It was the slow loading pictures that kept me away before.
Initially I was focused on SOG stuff, but that changed over time. I replaced my old Schrade 250T which was my "110" about two years ago with a new USA one. I used that old Schrade for years as a work and hunting knife. It was a bit on the worn side, so I replaced it. I do own a couple 110's however. Who can like knives and not own a real 110?
