First fawns of the season here in Southern Minnesota. About this time every year, mom brings the little ones out of the woods to show them where they can find food and water in the winter. The little guys love to run around on the lawn because they haven't been able to do that since the were born in the woods. These guys are exceptionally big for this time of the season, probably because of the early Spring and lush foliage due to all the rain. Picture is bad due to being taken at dusk through a double pane window between the blinds - she saw me anyway. By the time I got downstairs to my tripod camera, they were gone. They don't mind seeing me wandering around on the property, but movement in the house spooks them for some reason. They'll be back though.
This is the size the fawns were last year, which was a cold winter and below normal rainfall.
