thank you Boshi74 and Canineforge for taking the time to post. I appreciate it very much.

Wow!!! That is absolutely beautiful. Something like that would make me spend more time in the kitchen..........showing everyone that comes over the gorgeous trophy in the case. [emoji12][emoji41][emoji2]

Thats one amazing knife Bill! As much as I love all aspects of this piece, it's the damascus that blows me away!

WOW that pattern POPS! I love the gold and black wood combo too.

Bravo.

That's really sweet Bill. Liking the subtle elements that add that extra touch of class.

Bill,

That is really a beautiful piece - I especially like the gold treatment on the spine coming off the bolster- I don't remember seeing anything like that before

The Damascus is awesome, and Eric's picture is great as well

Absolutely stunning work, Mr Burke. I've made a couple knives out of the V Toku san mai billets you sent. Thank you again!

That pattern is insane, especially since the waves flow out from the handle along the blade.

I'm curious - do the layers of steel feel different when cutting or sharpening? I have one damascus patterned knife, and haven't ever noticed, but I don't believe the patterns go all the way to the edge.

The spine work is stunning, by the way.
