new hammer poll hawk

This is the latest hammer poll hawk I forged from A 24 oz. ball pein.I added some filework in the front edge,the haft is tiger maple treated with tung oil and beeswax with great figure.It will start on Ebay this evening-Thanks for looking-:thumbup:--Regards Butch

I may be able to get you 6 or 7 ball pien hammers. A friend told me that this Sunday a man he knows is having a garage sale and he saw them in a box he was putting in the sale. Do you need any.........

Haven't used them up yet !! guess your gonna have to hammer and pound night and day for awhile. I will let you know on the hammers. Keep pounding...

Thanks Larry,it just makes it a little easier having the eye already there,I just drift it to teardrop shape,even then it's sometimes hard to get the eye straight--Regards Butch

Love your 'hawks! The Tiger Maple is incredible.
 
Very very nice. I really love the hammer poll shape and size. I like a nice useful poll. A lot of times I feel that the neck on the poll is made too skinny, yours looks proportional.

The size of the poll kind of depends on the size of the ball some are bigger than others 24 oz is best for a hammer poll,thanks for your comments:thumbup:Regards Butch
