Let me know what you think!
EDC Prototype with 5" blade, 3/16" O1, hollow grind, swedge
Handle = Black/Tan G10
I really like this material - takes a beadblast very well - makes a super-grippy handle (probably the most grippy material I've ever used...along with Blue/Black G10)
EDC Prototype with 4.5" blade, 3/16" O1, hollow grind, swedge
Handle = Burgundy Canvas Micarta
]
Probably the best feature of this canvas micarta is that it looks nearly the same either wet or dry. Natural Canvas Micart starts out yellow and ends up brown. Green Canvas Micarta is silvery-green dry and is dark green when wet. Black Canvas Micarta is gray when dry and black when wet. Burgundy is is nearly the same wet or dry, new or old.
If you like a dark wood handle but want a synthetic alternative, then this is the material for you.
I put some thick liners on this handle to beef up the handle - I like it!
Let me know what you guys think.
