Just wanted to tell anyone who might be interested that I will be shipping my LCC out on 10-20-00 to be fitted with some burl ironwood handles. Frank aka ATS34 has posted pictures of the ivory handled, fileworked, jeweled LCC he recently finished. I haven't made up my mind on whether I will have anything else done except to fit the scales. Might go for the jeweled bolsters. I have the stonewash version. I have polished the blade several times using Flitz or equivalent polish. What I found out is that the blade is taking on a semi mirror look. I have done the same with my Socom Elite Auto. Looks good!
Well all for now. I will miss my LCC while Frank has it but I know that it will be a super looker when it comes back!

Art, When you polished the stonewashed blade did it remove, or dull, any of the MT logo, lettering, etc.? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce,
It didn't harm it in any way. It is still completely visible. I have done this on two different MT's, the LCC and a SOCOM Elite auto. Both look good with no affect on the logo or any writing. It does take away a bit of that galvanized look. I have polished it two or three times a day for a week and plan to continue in order to see just what will happen!
