New handles on my Seki Cut Rainbow

So i took off the aluminum handles and the wood (which was held on by a type of double sided tape plus the screws) and I put on my own Koa wood handles. I wish I had matching pieces but I didnt so one side looks nicer than the other. I made the handles into an entirely different shape and used my own bullseye style mosaic pins.
I did mess up and gouged into part of the blade with the sander, you can see it by the writing but its not too major. This was a "second" to start with. So I am fairly happy with it. I intended this knife to be my gentlemens knife i bring to steak restaurants. The epoxied on handles should fair better in case any meat juices get inside too.
The golden parts of the wood that really catch the light didnt come out very well in the picture, but you can see the curly parts of the wood in one shot.
So here are the photos, tell me what you think. Anything maybe you would do nicer? Thanks
