Picked up my first shovel today. It's a 75 FLH w/ a good bit of custom work done. Been sitting for almost three years but got it fired up, checked all the fluids and made a 70+ mile ride home no problem. It's still sputtering a little at times and the clutch will intermitantly slip under hard throttle(signs of sitting a long while) but I love it! The bike came with a ton of extras (seats, sissy bars, bags, 3 or 4 new speedos, mounting kits etc) and I will change some things around in the next few days.

Forgot to turn the fuel on.....

Careful on that thing. My wife just saw a dude on a bike on I-5 buy it today. I love bikes. I hate the drivers that hit them.

Looks good, sounds good too. Gotta love the old bikes. Sitting 3 years, carb's probably got some sludge, I'm surprised it ran so well on the ride home. I think it would look great with just a solo seat, love to see a pic of that if you ever set it up that way.

That's a good bike.

Solo seats are for antiques and showbikes, not for a daily rider. You can't very well pick up hot chicks at the pub if they haven't got a place to sit.

Nice pickup Marty!

It's looking like I'll have to sell mine pretty soon. Business has been rough this year, so it's either that, or quit collecting knives:eek:

Enjoy that one, it's got a lot of character!

You've got it backwards. Solo seats are perfect for a daily rider. Pretty show bikes are the ones for showing off at the pub.

It looks like m1marty did good...VERY nice bike, bud...
