I got my new harpy today and I love it! But it seems smaller than when I had one years ago. I also lost a delica at work. I wear earplugs in a warehouse all day so i'm sure it fell out when i reached for something in my pocket and didn't hear it hit the ground. Dang! So I just ordered up a couple byrd knives to use at work. A hawkbill and a meadowlark. Good knives that I won't be too upset if I lose them.

Ha ha. This is from a phone camera cause my real camera needs a battery charger. But woo hoo I fiugured out how to post pics.

I was at Salton Sea for a photo shoot. I had some time off and went to an Indian Casino and played penny slots. I did max money and lines and won $500. When I got back to my hotel in Calipatria there was a little general store across the street. I went in and they had only one Spyderco....a Harpy. So I bought it...great knife and I still EDC it at times, but my Tasmin Salt has kinda pushed it out of the rotation.

Very good folding knife the Harpy, I love it, here are a couple of pictures of mine.

Wow nice. Though I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber scales. I really like micarta but I don't have any. Would love to get a micarta wayne goddard or caly jr

I can contest to the duability of the stainless handles but I needed something that's lighter weight for climbing. I was looking at some of the rescue series spydies then I saw this , like mentioned above I had one when I was younger that I got in a trade ( and lost years later). I think that was my very first quality knife. I will get the good ol stainless model sometime in the near future, a g-10 model would be a great thing!

Oh yea I forgot to mention that the pocket clip is not reversible at all which is a bummer!
