New Hawk Guy

Hello to all you Hawk enthusiasts. I'm new to Hawks and this particular forum and have been kind of AWOL from Blade Forums in general for a while. That said, I thought I would reintroduce myself.
Just picked up a throwing hawk from Ragweed Forge and am waiting for the CS Trail Hawk and an ATC VTAC from 1sks. I don't know what happend. I started reading about hawks and all of a sudden I had three.
Looking forward to throwing these babies around in the woods while I run my dog. Just thought I would say thanks in advance for all the good info I have gathered fro you guys.
Got a question too. I noticed some of you wrapped your hawks with paracord or whatever. Does this affect your throwing and do you drill holes in the handle to secure the cord?

Welcome Ed!

I do parcord wraps on some of my hawks but these are not my main throwers. I do throw them but I make sure I secure the lanyard loop when I do.

The wrap I use is a hangman's knot so no drilling is needed.
