New Hawk Handles?

So, I have been drooling over all the great new stuff coming out of Blade, as I am sure many others have been too, and I noticed something about the handles on the Hawks; they look like they have square edges. I was hoping that someone who has had their hands on one, or both, of these new Hawks could tell me if the edges are in fact square? I ask because I am thinking about swinging it like a hammer and how uncomfortable a hammer with a square handle would be.

Thanks!

They were chamfered nicely, probably a toss-up vs. the original style handle (which had metal contacting your hand). If you hate it it should not be so hard to take a piece of sandpaper to it and handshape, or take the handles off and cordwrap it instead.

I've swung a hammer a bit, but I would say these are more comfortable. I think they contour nicely to the hand and would be really comfortable over a longer period of time.

monsterdog and KnifeAddictAK, thank you very much for your replies. I was looking at the pics and hoping they were not squared edges, but the only shots I have seen the look kinda ~90 angles. I appreciate knowing that they are not, thank you. I plan on using my Rattle Hawk a fair amount and was thinking if I was going to need to sand it I might as well by an RMJ and not need to make any modifications. Though, I cant get a Shrike in multicolored G10 ;).

They're hexagonal. The scales have 3 bevels each with a little SR101 sticking out between them. I think they're comfortable, but worst comes to worst, just wrap the handle in friction tape.

You can't get a shrike with multicolored G10, but you can get a Eagle Talon with it. Matching orange and black g10 set paired with the Gladius. It's gunna be awesome. Still a few months out though.....soon. Maybe by then I can add a NMSHBM to it.
