New helm forge hawk

I have to take a minute to say just how humbled I am by the gesture James Helm of Helm Forge (StormCrow) here on BF. did for me. A few months past we hit a financial ruff spot and needed some extra cash so I had to sell my custom war chief hawk that was part of a hawk and knife set I commissioned James to make. I was able to keep the knife but had to sell the Hawk. So fast foward to this week, I get an email from James asking for my address and he tells me he put something in the mail for me. I get home today and a box is on my porch and I open it up and there is the exact hawk he made for me before, with a simple note on the box saying, "Thank you for your service". I'm not a real emotional guy, But this got me choked up. James, what can I say other than thank you so much, and you have made me a very happy guy.
If anyone ever needs a great quality blade made by an Awesome dude check out Helm forge you will not be disappointed.
Here is a pic of the Hawk he replaced and it is identical to this.

Something doesn't jive here at all about this hard-luck story. Either Storm Crow discretely bought back the hawk without you knowing and re-sent it, or he never got paid and sent it to you anyway.
I'd get choked up too if I got something for nothing!

Shaw, thanks for your service. It is tough to sell a grail for mundane things, but some times you gotta do it (I've done it many times, once with a one off custom J. Oeser knife made specially for me, with my design input, and the only one out there).

300Six, I'm not sure how to take hour fomment. Not sure if you intended rudeness, but I took it as such.

Haha yeah after or email swap it made since, because I was like damn that was a good copy. Lol either way you are a gentleman worthy of praise. Thank you again for this. It sucked having to part with it, but bills gotta get paid and little one gotta be taken care of. So again thank you

Yeah 300six is a pure asshole. James on the other hand is a good man and a patriot that really supports our troops. And you're welcome. It was an honor to serve
