Well I was going to post pictures of my My first Stiletto switchblade build but I have to reach into my wallet first?

I must be getting old...anyway hello everybody. I use to be an avid poster/member of Sword Forum International years ago (it was free)
Any subscription pointers you guys may have Im all ears..

Nope. Just use one of the free hosting sites like photo bucket or one of the others.

You shouldn't have to pay to post pictures, even if it is something you built. You do have to pay to sell anything on these forums.

Some info on Membership

See the FAQ for Bladeforums rules at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/faq.php
Paid memberships at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/payments.php
Exchange rules at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/an...php?f=699&a=98

You need a Basic membership to post a trade thread,
a Gold membership to sell what you've bought,
a Knifemaker membership for what you have made,
or a Dealer membership if you sell for others.

Once you pay for your membership, go back to Paid Subscriptions to see when it takes effect. PayPal costs more and takes longer to go through. Credit card payments are automated.

Then go to Settings (upper right)
then to Permission Groups (left side)
then select your correct membership level.

I suggest browsing the FEEDBACK forum at the top of the Exchange, especially the stickies, for problems to watch out for. Browse the forums you are most likely to post in or buy from:, Dealer, Knifemaker, or Individual, to see how members communicate.

Paid members can upload pictures from their computers, but anyone can open a photo hosting account.

1. I use www.photobucket.com .

Download your pictures.
Go to your Photobucket album.
Click on the picture you want.
Go to the right and see Links to share this photo
Left click on IMG. It will flash Copied. Paste into your post.

2. Another way: go to http://www.imgur.com and upload your image.
After uploading, select the BBCode option - it starts with .
Copy & Paste to your thread.

Like BenC-60 said you can post pictures. You just have to use a photo hosting site like photobucket or flickr. Paying members can load straight to the site. One thing to be mindful of though since you are wanting to post pictures of your build. It is perfectly ok to do so. Just be mindful of how you communicate publicly and privately when using the Email functions. You dont want your "sharing" to be confused with solicitation.

Certain features are limited to people who help support the site. A basic membership is under 3 cents a day. A Gold membership is just over 8 cents a day.

If you don't feel like you get 3 cents worth of entertainment off the website, don't buy a subscription. If you feel like keeping this site open is worth the price of a movie ticket and drink, we welcome your support.

You aren't forced to do anything.
