Hi Guys. New member here. As the movie character "Crocodile Dundee" said,"Now THAT'S a KNIFE"! For the low e-Bay price, wonderful quality. Well balanced, easily takes a good edge. I also ordered a custom Kydex sheath for it from another e-Bay vendor, as well as custom black/green micarta handle scales on e-Bay as well. Will order a BK-7 in the future. Great quality. I am waiting for the delivery of a CRKT "Kangee" T-hawk in the next few days. I collect weapons of very good quality, and these are my recent additions. In addition to my guns, my knife collection just makes my house the wrong choice for home-invasion robbers. Also ready for any SHTF situation. Not an inherently violent guy, but I am ready for whatever comes my way. I LIKE good knives, and don't mind paying a fair a fair price for them.

BK 9 is an excellent choice, congrats! BTW, this will likely be moved. It belongs in the Becker forum.

Welcome! I'm glad you found us, sounds like your going to fit right in. I remember that awesome feeling the first time you pick up a BK9.

Now that you have a Becker 9 you're going to start having urges. Don't be alarmed. These urges will compell you to chop 2×4s and tree limbs without mercy. You'll soon find your self looking at trees as targets for future assault and hoping the next storm will bring down a couple of limbs. All of this is perfectly normal.

You will also be compelled to buy more Becker knives and find random reasons to use them. Most of us have used a BK5 to carve a turkey or a 2 to cut a string off of our clothes.

The best part is you'll get to hang out here and post pics of your new toys, er uh, tools. So welcome to the asylum and enjoy the ride.

He speaks the truth. Ever since I got my BK9, I can't look at a tree without wondering about whether or not I can cut it down.

Be prepared to experience giddiness when a situation for unsheathing the beast arises.

So welcome to the asylum and enjoy the ride.

Please keep all extremities tightly tucked in at all times. There's a lot of sharp things flying around here.
