Not really new new, but haven't posted in about six or seven years. Also wasn't sure if I should just make a new account or not. Left the knife hobby, if that's what you call it, and sold and traded many of my higher end blades I never used.

But now I'm back and recently caught the knife bug again! So I figured I'd share a pic of my current and now growing again collection with everyone as a re-entry into the community I once loved.

Let me know what you think and if there's anything in particular I may be missing out on.

Most recent in the past month are the praxis, caly 3.5, stretch 2xl, and my new maxace black mirror of which I haven't snapped a pic of yet.

A large fixed blade.

Those Opinel mods + those Spydies, especially the Lum - very cool!
Thanks, I got into a kick with modding those opinels when I was about 17. Only two I can find are these. And the lum is an old fav of mine, takes a beating for sure.

Man Ive always loved busse knives. Been meaning to buy a larger fixed blade on the more affordable side like a Becker, but then I catch myself thinking why not a small axe or a hatchet?

Because all a hatchet can do is chop and knives can do that and knifey things too, plus a bing honkin’ fixed blade is just fun. (To me anyway)

By the time you buy a Becker and throw some micarta scales on it and get a nice sheath you’re more than halfway to a Busse, or at least a nice Kin blade. They’re worth the extra.

For me, the knife bug took a vacation and the watch bug checked in. Helped me enjoy the current collection more though, so win-win. Nice SOTC.

You make some fair points antdog, and to be honest, looking at busse knives prices, they aren't quite as pricey as I remember them 8 or so years ago. May have to get me a large fixed blade for the collection.

Also thanks guys good to be back!
