Hey everyone. Long time lurker...finally decided to join.

I’ve been into knives for a long time, but I always seem to buy guns instead.

Here are pics of my small collection:

The Buck was my first “real” knife. I’ve had it since I was a kid.

The Spydercos started my collecting and have always been my favorites.

The SOG was a gift from Nighthawk after ordering a few pistols. And the Blackhawk knife was my stepdads before he passed...not sure why he bought it...LOL...

The Microtech and the Benchmade are my EDC knives.

Anyway, thanks for looking.

A few Nighthawk pistols?!?
Dang brother, you better be posting those here. ;) I’ve been eyballing NHC since they started. Maybe someday....

I’ve never seen a Spyderco multitool like the one you’ve got. Looks awesome.
Welcome to the forum.

Yeah, I've ordered 2 and I have had 4 total. I currently have 2 now, a Talon II bobtail that was my first, and a Talon II non bob that I got about 4 years ago at my LGS. Sold the 2nd ordered one to my stepdad and now my sister has it. I love nice 1911's....

One of the things holding me back is how clumsy I am hard I am on my gear. When I drop a nice, usually new, knife on the asphalt, I curse myself a little and mutter, “Not again!?! Oh well, that’s part of the cost of having a nice knife.”

I don’t think I’m quite to that point with a top end 1911. I guarantee I’d screw up the slide trying to drift the rear sight and wind up eternally sick to my stomach over it. ...I guess that means I’m not ready to step up yet. :D

Welcome aboard! I think you'll find a lot of comrades, especially in the Spyderco sub forum. Just expect to buy a lot of knives you didn't even know you wanted, haha.

This is my favorite Spyderco(and my favorite picture of it) -

Here's the beauty of that....all of mine are dead balls accurate, so you wont have to drift anything. Hey at the end of the day they are tools that get used. I keep mine pretty nice, but if I dinged it, well then it just has character now. Once you shoot a nice 1911, you'll never go back. Kinda like nice knives I guess.

Thanks!! Nice knife for sure. I love all of their knives.

Speaking of wanting a new knife, for some reason I want a Ratmandu.....
