Here's a knife I made using some stuff I found at a scrap yard. I built this little brake drum forge and was lucky enough to find this Ibeam too. I'm hoping to get a sander made up here soon, I did all of this with a few files and sand paper. I kind of feel like a fella has to start from the bottom anyway and sweat a bit anyway before moving on to anything too fancy tool wise, to appreciate the tools he acquires that much more. I also admit I dont think I got the HT right on this, lots to learn! Have at it

Looks like a great start to me! I had a good laugh when I saw what your forge was!
I think you will have to invest into the heat treat: that's where it gets critical for the quality.
I like the blade too: nice curves!

Thanks Poez, lol yea my little forge isn't the ideal forge, but it cost me about 4 bux and it works for small stuff. Ill upgrade someday. I've read aLOT on Heat treating in the last few weeks, so I'm hoping the next one works out better. This knife is ok, but it's not right that's for sure. Thanks again for the reply
