First post here.

I've been more of a multi-tool user rather than dedicated folders for EDC, SOGs for weekends. Recently I've been using several Spydercos for for both EDC and weekend activities alongside a Leatherman.

I wanted to get a non-intimidating, somewhat classy Gentleman's knife for EDC, and fell in love with the look and smoothness (judging from videos) of Mnandi.

I just received a left handed Mnandi with Snakewood inlays this afternoon. Oh what a beautiful little thing. I now have to have guts to actually put this beauty into my EDC rotation... :p

Just wanted to say hi. :)

I have a Snakewood Mnandi as well. You made an excellent choice, I don't think you will find a classier gent's framelock. Don't be afraid to use it either, just make sure you know its limitations.

very good grain pattern! don't be afraid to use it.. wish i had the guts to use mine, LOL.

Congrats on a beautiful gentlemen's knife. Don't be afraid to use it for what is was meant for!

Welcome to BF, and welcome to the club!

Snakewood is one of my favs -- excellent choice!

Also try to remember that CRK knives hold there value quite well, even when used. So go ahead and have at it. It's not like you're going to be building shelters with it. It'll handle whatever EDC tasks you throw at it.

Thanks guys for warm welcomes. It's been few hours with the knife, but it seems I just can't put it down. Leather sheath/pouch is gorgeous and the whole packaging with signed memo and polish cloth was really nice touch.

This is my first knife (or any instruments) with Snakewood, and I am loving it. Not too bling, yet very classy and it goes really well with the finish of the knife.

I am planning to carry it everyday basis. Multi-tool will be in my bag all the time and probably I'll be keeping one of my Spydies near me for mid-heavy cutting tasks. Mnandi will be used with care for light cutting tasks, but it WILL be used nonetheless. The knife is too well made to just admire. ;)

Very nice. I want one too! Im building a custom 22-250 for stretching gophers so Im hoping by late summer

Beautiful! Isn't great that a lefty can get such a nice dedicated framelock? I love my m ivory and blackwood mnandi's. I carry the blackwood at work everyday. I use the ivory one for gardening. They are great little knives! Congrats and welcome to the club.:cool::D:p
