Hi all,
I decided to register with Bladeforums to get in touch with other knive enthousiasts. I.m from the Netherlands so English is not my native language....so please forgive te spelling and grammar mistakes.
Since my early youth i was fascinated with knives and still am. After joining the Dutch Army at 17 i remained almost 15 years in the service as a metal worker/engineer making the rank sergeant first class. Now i'm a career firefighter ranking Lieutenant (Brandmeester in Dutch) in the Almere fire department. In both my careers i ruined/lost a lot of fine knives for all kinds of tasks.
As an Geocaching and bushcraft enthousiast i'm now looking for a nice knife, and maybe try making one on my own.
Hope i didn't make too much spelling mistakes, and hope too learn a lot of new things on the forum!
Greetings,
Robert
