Hello all. I am new here, although I have been reading it for a few weeks now. Very informative. I've been on a spree, so to speak. Three weeks ago I bought a BM 710HSSR. I sent it back because of a couple common bugs. I suspect when I get it back it will be a super blade that should last indefinitely. I also bought the CRKT M-16-04, a ridiculously well-made knife for $50. That is now my carry as I await the return of my Axis. Now today I also ordered as a rotator to the BM another knife. I narrowed my choices down to a LCC and a SERE 2000. I went with the Al Mar because availability of the MT seemed difficult. The SERE wasnt readily available either, as I suspect these are both excellent knives and are in high demand.

Jeff, welcome! Always room for one more, especially one with good taste. Good picks all around (but I would've opted for the LCC

Welcome! What was wrong with the 710? I am interested to hear of common bugs.

The 710 had a few flat spots on the blade edge, and the blade did not line up evenly when closed.
