for a long time, I have been lurking the bladeforum website just to see what knives are out there and etc. recently just made an account. Main reason was because well...none of my friends are interested in knives and such. 24 y/o out of Compton California. I'm a first responder EMT. Although I currently do not carry any work knives on me during duty, my trusty shears cut through anything haha. Coming here to start a collection, new friends, and to learn from experienced members. Looking forward to finding a work knife for me and I know it'll just add on from there.

Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the forums, man, but beware your wallet! This place costs me more money than most of my other vices combined!

Welcome to BFC!!!!!!!
There's plenty to read about, won't be long and you'll be posting your collection.
Best advice anyone can give: Stick to your budget!!!!!!!, if that is possible.

You know what I'm not entirely sure. I have this thing about cleavers so I'm gonna start off with the spydie roc cleaver and maybe get myself a pm2 for duty. I also like the bench made 555hg. I dont know much about any knife makers, but I do like the idea of buying one from a knife maker to support and in return I get something quality hand made.

And thanks to everyone who's been reading my post

So far the only blade I have is a qtrmstr karambit I bought on bladehq about 5 months ago came with a cert paper and everything I was pretty stoke, but I can't see myself carrying that everyday lol.

I've also found out I have to pay to pm anyone since I've been on the for sale section and I can't pm anyways haha I'll be getting gold membership soon

Oh man that's a tough one. I don't really know what my budget is. My schools tuition is like 50k and that's the only thing that's keeping me from buying anything.... Just the other day I had to stop myself from buying a large sweet tea and fries at McDonald's. I do save! Exited to find something in the forsale forum here!
