Hi hi :)
I'm new to this site. I am also relatively new to this new found hobby of mine after my mom suggested I get a balisong trainer because I keep annoying her when I drop my twirling baton at home:oops:. I guess somewhere along the line of reading up on balisongs, I got really interested. I'm still learning, but it's nice to meet you.

Hi SoShyButterfly!

I'm new here as well! Nice to meet you.

Awesome to see you're interested in butterfly knives. They're pretty cool. The ones from Bear & Son and Benchmark are my favorite. They're US made and are pretty reasonably priced. Benchmades, unfortunately, are way out of my budget.

If you're relatively new to the hobby of butterfly flipping, you should be sure to get a good trainer. Me, personally, I never messed with trainers and went straight into flipping with live blades. LOL! I got cut a few times but I've mastered the skill pretty well.

Have a great day and good luck with your venture into balisongs and collecting!

Stay Sharp!

I actually have two trainers. One I got at the mall at one of those little karate places. I practiced so much that day, it broke that night (granted it was like...20ish bucks.) I got a curved one online that was WAY too heavy so it's a no go for me. And then I didn't learn my lesson so I went BACK to the mall to get a live 20ish dollar blade bali and it was stuck and screws too stripped to take apart.
