I'm new to the forum if this has been asked already I appologize. I'm unable to open the photos in the gallery posting on the diferent models. I was also looking for any info on the CQC 8 in particular, history, etc. but will continue using the search button. If anyone can point me in the direction of a thread that would be appreaciated.

the '8 is designed after the al mar warrior IIRC, and made it into the production line in about '00 in a emerson /surefire collaboration, ya got a '8 and a C2 surefire light, both marked EKI and SF, and both with the same serial #, my wife got me # 093 IIRC for my B-day in '00, now they come waved too of course, i also have a '01 zero bevel grind specwar '8 custom, both great knives imho, they are designed for a reverse grip FWIW, i recently saw pics of a bolstered waved ZBG custom '8, very nice indeed, other than the CQC6 the '8 is my fav emerson. IIRC there was a special run of the custom ones that did go to navy specops, might have been the 1st real run he made of them, IIRC anyway.
