i just got a 10.5" BDC in and its awesome. excellent weight, the fit and finish is excellent, the fullers are deep and add a wonderful shape to the spine, the handle fits perfectly in my hand.

I bought a couple of those sheaths from Smoky Mountain Knife Works. I'm using one of them with my old Atl Cutlery Khuk and the other with another khuk. I wish I had a boatload of those scabbards. I'd love to have one to use with my HI Tamang.

i swear i looked up and down the 5 pages of kami marks. maybe on some of the described 1's without pictures i didnt understand.

but anyone know kami by pics above?

I think the mark is a trident or "trisul", which is what Murali supposedly used prior to 2002. Didn't see any photos of Murali's trisul.

From a previous post by kronckew, another kami using a trident was Shankar, but it looked different:

haven't seen this one listed: (from 20" pre "U.B." marked kobra)

From another DOTD:

Lachhu Kami made this spectacular knife. His mark, Trishul, is on the blade
of every knife he makes. He has been working for Birgorkha and perfecting
his craft for more than 10 years.

In the "good old days," he worked as Bura Master's Kami helper. The Master
Kami trained him very well and now he makes an outstanding knife for HI's
forumites....
