New Hideaway knife

I see there is a new production verison of the Hideaway knife. It sells for like 70 dollars . I was wondering if anybody has and info on this,how does it compare to the custom version? Thanks for any info

It has been out approx. 6 weeks & is priced at $69.00 This first batch were "Straights", but I believe FS said there would be other models down the line.

I haven't started a thread on these yet here. After working on getting a less expensive -but-still-high-quality version done for over a year, and rejecting all the early samples, I'm almost too tired to write about them in all the places where I should, like certainly here.

Have been getting really good feedback on the new model so far. They all get my new FS sheath as well.

I added that model to I want one (which is more the "made-to-order" page) because I've had a Viking order one (size 6+) and some women with very small fingers, which I'll get on the next cut (waterjet cut). i.e., Even though these are theoretically production, I'm still trying to accommodate you statistical outliers. I've already started to run out of some sizes and don't have enough coming out of the pipeline soon enough to replace them. So for some sizes only the customs will be available for a while.

My shipping associate also has extra help this week! (small things make a huge difference...)
