New Hiking Buddy

My wife and I got a new hiking buddy about a month ago. His name is Ollie and he is 12 weeks old now. He is half Bernese Mountain Dog, quarter Swiss Mountain dog and a quarter Pyrenees Mountain dog- So basically, he is going to be a big mountain dog. These pics are from when he was 6 weeks old.
Ollie is now nearly as tall as Tuff, my English lab who is built like a rott.
Due to my ridiculously busy work schedule, we havent been out hiking yet, but will soon.
I will post some more pics.

Great hiking buddy. I remember a few months ago a man got lost hiking out here in the desert for a week and all he had to keep him warm at night was his dog which never left his side. Even after the hiker was located in an old river bed the dog was growling and barking trying to protect his owner from the rangers. The hiker said he would have perished had it not been for his loyal companion. Congrats and do not forget to post some pics of his first big hike.

Thanks guys. He is a good looking pup. He is incredibly athletic already, he jumps right over my older dog now from a standing start. He also has the longest freaking tail I have seen! Its a damn whip!
