RickH just posted this

I am in no way criticizing, but Hinderer's new MP1 blade shape is very Insingo-like, and the handle looks like a CRK as well, although it sports several interesting new features.

His new Sherman "tank" knife looks nothing like a CRK but but falls into the same high quality beefy small blade category as the Inkosi.

I like the MP1 but the Sherman is probably too small for my liking. I don't think it's too similar to the insingo blade. Doesn't have that partially sharpened top swedge. I like it though.

Other than the blade shape on one, I am not really seeing any similarities to any CRK. If anything, I think one of them looks like a MUDD- But that is my personal opinion :)

Love that he is forging ahead with new designs/knives etc..ill always have Hinderers next to my CRKs:)

Agreed. I've become a fan of RHK over the last few months as well. I still hold CRK in a higher regard in some aspects but am just as happy with either in my pocket at any given time :)

Cool, I'd love a flipper with that blade shape :)

Those look good. I think I still like the XM-18 better, but it might just be the shock of a new design.

Im hoping that blade shape gets put on a large Inkosi/25 in the form of the INSINGO!!!

The XM-18 is a true classic. Time will tell if the new designs earn the title as well. I like the XM more currently as well.

i really love it! But why the thumb studs? They dont act as a bladestops like the XM... And the Sheepfoot blade is great but i dont get the Insingo reference. Many makers have similar blade shapes. It is basically a "Santoku" shape in a folder.

Nevertheless i think it has potential to be great. just my opinions. :D
