A lot of the folks here have helped to make this possible, and know me well enough to know what a huge deal this is for me, Angi, and Erin. :)

I've never been so excited and freaked out at the same time in my life!!! :D

Usually realty outfits hire somebody to keep up the lawns at their listings... no such luck here! This was actually taken about a month ago...house wasn't ours yet, but I didn't want it to get worse. There's almost an acre of grass in front... not quite enough for hay so I broke out the Stihl weedeater  :)

Some hot girl volunteered to help mow it. ;) :D

Looking out the front... very "Northwest" :)

The previous owners had the house and shop built 4 years ago, then proceeded to just make a mess of it. So we bought a lot of garbage! :grumpy: Fortunately I have a swift clean-up crew. :)

Since there was about 20 full sized garbage bags of paper, boxes, OSB and pallets that were left out in the rain, and some crappy sawdust/glue furniture left inside, we decided to have a bonfire.

Here's the new home of Wheeler Custom Knives :) It definitely needs some color change and probably some more windows (there is a roll up door on the other end and another man door with two matching windows on the other side)... but it's 36'X48' of fully insulated and finished shop!!! 3.6 times the square footage I've been working in.

There's a lot of work to do here, the house, shop, and property need a lot of things changed to make it all our own... but it's a great start. :) :)

Congratulations, Nick

That looks fun and exciting. That's a dream to have property like that and not be stuck in suburban hell.

I'm so happy for you, Angi and Erin!
Congratulations!
Can't wait to come by for a visit.

Wow, Nick, a beautiful place with a ton of potential. I'm very happy for you kids.

Hooray for Wheeler, Inc.

That looks like a little knifemaking paradise in the Northwest!

Glad for you all.

John

Nick congratulations to you and Angie, I hope that you will be both happy in your new home. I presume this is the property you were telling me about a couple of months ago. Nice size shop!! Now there will be no excuses about cramped working conditions.

Man Nick! This is exciting for you guys. Congratulations on the new house and shop. Both look like a home to live and grow in happily. Best of luck in your venture my friend. I can smell a hammer-in/house warming coming soon.

Wonderful Nick - congrats! And you're right, it's very Northwesty (not that it's a bad thing :D).

Thanks guys!!! :)

We're all really excited!

I told Angi I'm not showing anybody any pictures of the house (other than that 1 inside shot) until we get things set the way we want. It's actually a lot bigger house than we even wanted (2 story- 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath) but we figured it was better to have too much space for now... than not enough.

These two will be moving there too ;)

Angi's holding Bentley. :)

They're "only" about 20 pounds each right now at 8 weeks:foot:... But they'll be somewhere around 125-150 pound range in two years. :D :)

Just in case you have the slightest interest... this is a pretty good little window into what these guys are all about... (except their dad is a dry mouth so they won't drool like many do)...
