New hunting knives soon?

I got an email from BladeHQ, and it looks like all the Benchmade hunting knives are being discontinued. Are there going to be new models coming soon?

I love the Saddle Mountain Skinner for cleaning deer.
 
How does benchmade handle repair/warranty work on discontinued models? I just bought a north fork so this concerns me
 
nice blade trying to cover multiple bases, short stop. sweet, what is street?

No need to be worried. Benchmade still warranties HK and Lone Wolf knives from a looooong time ago. And most of their HUNT folders have not been discontinued, the North Fork included.
 
I never saw any info about BM discontinuing their fixed blade hunting knives. They still have them in stock on the BM website as well as retailers such as Blade HQ. Was this a mistake or are they selling off stock and then discontinuing the line? I have been eyeballing both the Hidden Canyon Hunter and the Saddle Mountain Skinner.
 
They updated the line. Pretty much the same models, with a few design updates and some new steels. The older versions were discontinued, and are still marked down at the few retailers that have the older ones in stock.
