New Hyper: Pocket clip screws not budging

I'm loving the new knife, but in trying to flip the pocket clip around I realized the screws holding it on weren't budging. Tried multiple tools, WD-40, borrowed an allen wrench set, tried heat then cold...So far I've stripped off a Leatherman bit completely, but the screws are still intact and not moving a notch. I can live with a tip-down Hyper with some adjustment, but eventually I may dremel off the screws and send away for a set of replacements. I'm using a 1/16 standard allen wrench, only bit that fits, but these things must have adhesive holding them in even with the WD-40 and water I've used on it.

I am pretty sure those take a #6 torx bit. The screw heads may be stripped if you have used the wrong tool. They probably are loctited. In the past I have placed knives into a pot of boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes to loosen the loctite and then take the screws out. You can also use a hair dryer to apply the heat. If nothing else use the dremel to cut a straight slot in the screw head and then take them out with a screwdriver.

That's what I usually get with Bokers, yet I swear I'm looking at it right now and they're standard-shaped hex holes. Same with the handle screws and main pivot. It's name brand, very sure from the quality it's knock a gray market, but somehow this one has standard hex, unless somehow they're deformed enough that the torx looks flattened.

Sorry, I can't tell you how to get them out, but the Hyper and M-Type do come with allen/hex screws rather than torx.

I'm tempted to give them an email and ask for a wrench or at least an exact size bit to use...It's not accessible by my standard or metric sets, so I'm really not sure what number or type these screws are.
EDIT: Just sent an email to customer support, these screws are really frustrating me. I really do like the knife, but this is the first real problem I've had with all the Bokers I've bought.

I'll double check on Monday, when I get to the office, but I just checked my
wifes Hyper, and it looks like Allen screws. Like I said, I will double check
when I get back to work

I couldn't let this one go, so I grabbed the Hyper and my tool kit.
They are number six torx, but look like Allen screws on the surface.
Tried two of them, and came up the same.

Really! Alright then, I'll throw in a tool the next time I order some knifemaking supplies. Mystery solved, and this is still one fine design as I've been tooling around with it. This gray Ti-finish gorgeous, I'd pay ten dollars more for a coated Subcom like this. Really underestimated how comfortable the handle would be, those little contours are practically invisible but make a difference. Thanks for the help, times like these I'm glad knife companies care.

Not looking to appear Mr. Know It All, really, I'm not!;):) But I almost posted this possibility as I have seen this on more than one occasion but don't remember what knives they were on. It is strange looking as it definately looks like a hex but when you put the torx into it, it locks in and does the job.

Ended up having to Dremel them off, sadly. The Hyper isn't a shelf queen so I don't mind the scuffs, eventually I may look into some new screws just for function's sake. For now, it's tip-up, waves off the front and back pocket, and it was an excuse to buy some new toy...tools. New tools. With how many times I've taken it apart and reassembled it I'm appreciating how solid it is even in amateur hands, tempted to look into some custom scales for this thing.

Yep. I was sure they were hex, but I tried a T8 on the pivot and T6 on the rest after reading this, and they fit perfectly. I remember when these first came out even CLB thought they were hex and complained that the heads stripped out easily. Now we know why.:D
