Friends, I 've just got a BUCK Bantam lockback through the post all the way from your country to mine, Finland. It's a run of the mill lowly knife, but I like it enormously. It's just right all round,I'm very impressed indeed. Simple is often best eh?

It's going to be used in the garden a lot-better not drop it in those camo scales!
I like the knife and the company a great deal. A Gen5 fixed blade I have has proved wonderfully versatile, really well made and not costly.Puts a lot of fancy names to shame. I once had a minor problem with a knife but Buck fixed it quickly and properly and I live outside the US, that is a great re-assurance:thumbup:

What New Buck have you got lately and liked?

Regards, W

My favorite is a 110 with sambar stag scales, S30V steel blade and nickel silver bolsters.

I've just ordered a 110 Folding Hunter® Jasper Arrow with the 40% holiday discount and may end up getting the Royal Flush Duke as well. I'm thinking about it.

Any knife that works for you is a good thing. Even some that don't work for you are still good things :D, but the one you "go to" the most is always a joy to use.

Glad yours works for you!:) Sounds like a winner!

sadly i dont use knives much but for opening letters and packages
but if i were still working i think i would use a buck lite
like the grip but miss the brass..

Recent purchase. The fit and finish is fabulous on both.

Buck seems to turn these out routinely, but we should not fail to appreciate how many and how perfectly they are made.
